Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program
The VITA Program offers free tax preparation and consultation to low income individuals.
Returns can be prepared for people (for singles and married filing jointly) earning up to
$45,000 in income. Certified volunteers will be providing assistance from February 11 – April
14, 2012. These volunteers may help with credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit, Child
Tax Credit, and Credit for the Elderly or Disabled. Free E-filing is also provided.
